Styling all of the Autumn Zara Trends
Every year I fail to resist Zara’s transitional trends! The last couple of weeks has been full of new style drops and returning best sellers. Many pieces from last season ended up selling for triple the price on third-party websites after multiple sell outs. Now is the time to start buying some wardrobe staples that you can mix and match throughout A/W. In this week’s post I’ll share which Autumn Zara trends I think are worth the investment, my must have wardrobe basics & how to style.

Let’s start off strong with the newly launched ‘Faux Fur Biker Jacket’ – it keeps selling out online globally for a reason. Shearling jackets are timeless, coming back into fashion every year and this one is my favorite so far. The oversized teddy vibe looks extremely cozy, combined with the biker detail at the collar makes it a unique style that I haven’t seen anywhere else. Zara have truly done it again with this jacket. My only concern is the potential aftermath from a day caught in the rain, will this prevent the jacket from becoming a wardrobe staple you can wear year after year?
A trend I’m loving is cut-out knitwear – I’m predicting that this will be huge for Autumn. If you’re a knitwear lover but looking for an edgy style that you can layer over a shirt or wear with leather trousers, boots and a blazer, then this is perfect for you. If you’re struggling with what to buy for the transitional period, this would be my top recommendation. Great for the last days of summer with the breathable cut-out but you can re-style over the next 6-9 months during the colder days. Alternatively, Zara have launched this as a cardigan with a cut-out around the shoulder.
Distressed buckle boots in a vintage wash are finally all over the high-street. I’ve spotted many influencers rocking the signature Miu Miu style at festivals all summer and I have to admit they have grown on me. Zara has released a shorter more practical version that can be worn day to day – adding a grungy vibe to any outfit. You could wear these so many ways which is why I think they will be very popular this A/W. My favorite has to be with a skirt and oversized shirt, or jumper as seen below.
Finishing off my recommendations with the most worn pieces in my wardrobe – puffer gilets! I have a growing collection in almost every color and style. They are so versatile and can be an easy finishing touch to a street style outfit. Zara have launched a quilted cropped khaki style this season that I have my eye on already. The quilted detail makes this look expensive and more of a statement piece in your wardrobe. Combined with the dark khaki wash that works with every skin tone, makes the gilet top of my Autumn Zara trends wish list. Quilted puffer styles became very popular following the viral success of The Frankie Shop olive green oversized jacket last year & I think this will continue into AW23.
